Funds for the scholarship are obtained through HOW fundraisers and contributions from Wildwood residents and community merchants and leaders.

To support the Michelle Radke Memorial Scholarship, please patronize our fundraisers and community activities hosted throughout the year, and support our HOW sponsors. Additional contributions can be made with your renewed or new HOW Membership Application.

History
The Michelle Radke Memorial Scholarship began in 1990. It is designed to assist a HOW member with the cost of higher education.

Eligibility

• A senior at Warren High School or Carmel High School
  
  
  OR
  
• A youth or adult currently enrolled in college or vocational school
  
  AND
  
• The applicant's household is a current member of HOW. A Membership Application can be submitted along with the completed scholarship application.

Pick up an application at the counseling offices of:

• Warren High School
• Carmel High School
• College of Lake County

Winners are selected in May. The maximum scholarship award is $250. More than one scholarship may be awarded depending on funds available. Honorable mentions go to all other applicants.
